Lindsay Wilson simply wants to concentrate on her shop where she sells her own mixtures of creams and essential oils. What she doesn’t want is the seriously sexy Blake Davidson hell-bent on protecting her from the abusive boyfriend who followed her to Montana all the way from South Africa. Blake lost two people before because he couldn’t protect them, so what’s different this time with Lindsay? From the moment he’s laid eyes on her, all his instincts have been telling him to make sure nothing happens to her so he has no choice but to move into her place and keep her safe. But what about his own heart.

I read the synopsis for this book and I just could not wait to start reading it. I mean; protective hero, strong heroine, danger from her ex boyfriend, ... I am HERE FOR IT! So I was super exited to get an ARC for this book. 

Now having finished it, the book leaves me very conflicted. I still love the story and the characters are both interesting and likable, however the entire story just felt rushed to me. I would have preferred to see their relationship develop more over time. 

I still loved Blake as the protective hero. Lindsay does not make it easy for him, but he is determined to keep her safe. Things with her ex escalate quickly so blake can't afford to let his guard down around her. So offcourse he does let his guard down and things go wrong. 

What happened after, all happened to quickly. I felt like it was very unlikely that they would both just get over their traumas so quickly and just move on. That beeing said, I still loved the HEA :)
